Amigos on a Mission
Amigos of Baltimore County was founded by a group of Latino Community Leaders in Community Baltimore County. Our mission is to connect Baltimore County Latinx residents to resources that improve their well being through a network of dedicated providers.
By organizing community forums, food drives and other events to directly help the latino community. We believe the latin community is a vital part of Baltimore County and we have become the bridge that connects them to information and resources that are available. We have helped thousands of families with food resources, domestic violence advocacy and connected them with various agencies in the county.
We have organized community forums, food drives, community resource fairs to bring information and resources directly to the latino community.

A message from the Executive Director
"I want Amigos to be there to help improve people's lives."
My vision for Amigos of Baltimore County’s (ABC) started with the hope to have my community of mostly immigrant Latinos thrive and have resources available to them while being easily accessible.
The Latino community seems to be at the forefront of most services and support teams but yet have one of the lowest qualities of life. Now more than ever during such trying times with COVID-19, Latinos are out working and providing services that help keep others safe. However, I continue to witness and experience my community be impacted by issues such as domestic violence, lack of access to education, lack of access to healthcare, and other issues that put our neighbors in harm’s way. I want my community along with anyone else to have the same opportunity and means to get the support they need without agonizing about their legal status or any other circumstance holding them back to reach out for help. We all need help!
Amigos of Baltimore County’s (ABC) mission is to connect Baltimore County Latino residents to resources that improve their well-being through a network of dedicated providers. Small steps in working with our police department to build a relationship with the community can change the view of policing to make them feel protected rather than afraid. Getting the little things like a driving school to support Hispanic women be able to drive and acquire their license and a community resource center can go a long way in improving the lives of the Latino community.
All this work comes from the heart. The connection between my community and being able to make a difference is the most valuable part of my life after my faith and my children.
I invite you to make an impact.
